Your job description

>

The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving users’ technical issues, ensuring the proper functioning of the company’s IT systems. This role will serve as the point of contact for employees regarding IT problems and will handle the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides first-level technical support to head office staff, business partners, and hotel personnel to resolve hardware, software, and network issues;
  • Installs, configures, and updates computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment;
  • Manages the opening and monitoring of support tickets through the IT management system;
  • Monitors and resolves any problems related to network connectivity;
  • Supports the onboarding of new employees by configuring access and credentials;
  • Administers and maintains all IT assets in terms of periodic checks, maintenance, and monitoring;
  • Handles the updating of IT documentation within their domain of expertise;
  • Manages the receiving of orders and shipping of IT material to the Chain Hotels and the HQ.

Your background

>

  • Technical or IT technical diploma (or High school technical diploma in IT or related field);
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role.

Your technical skills

>

  • Excellent proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite and the company’s digital and IT tools necessary for carrying out the functions described above (STR, RMS, PMS, and Channel Manager);
  • Experience in using IT ticketing and monitoring systems.
