Commercial Specialist
The Commercial Specialist involves developing new business relationships and managing existing client accounts, typically through CRM, email, in-person meetings, and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implements all online/offline sales and retention activities for the B&B Hotels client portfolio, adhering to company guidelines;
- Manages data quality, consistency, and integrity, trains Hotel Managers, and generates reports and input data to support organizational initiatives aimed at maintaining and improving client data quality;
- Organizes several qualified appointments per week with clients and maximizes sales opportunities within the BU’s Negotiated Area (Corporate/Leisure/Business and Leisure Groups) for consolidated clients, new business/clients, and prospect clients;
- Responsible for maximizing Yield results in line with B&B Hotels’ sales strategies and objectives;
- Serves as the sales reference point and contact between headquarters and the properties within their assigned department, acting as an Ambassador for the B&B Hotels brand in the market;
- Monitors hotel sales activities to achieve monthly and annual corporate sales targets, implementing corrective actions through targeted plans;
- Manages requests proactively alongside Telesales actions aimed at maximizing sales opportunities in the Negotiated Area;
- Develops business opportunities at national and international levels in both consolidated and new product segments;
- Conducts proactive direct sales activities, such as client visits, site inspections for any market segment, in-hotel sales, participation in sales blitzes, sales visits, client events, participation in Fam Trips, Educational events, Trade shows, etc., for both individual properties and the B&B Hotels group, including marketing and communication activities where necessary and requested;
- Develops their client portfolio and strong commercial relationships with consolidated and potential clients for new business opportunities;
- Promotes the hotelbb.com platform, B&B Hotels membership, B&ME, App, social media channels, and B2B transient and group actions to achieve the revenue targets set by the Business Unit and the Region;
- Cultivates strong commercial relationships with clients.Participates in all pre-opening sales operations, coordinating with Area Managers (AM) and other Head Office Departments for the opening of new hotels within the Business Unit by the scheduled opening date.
