IT & Security Specialist

The IT & Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the management of key protection technologies, the correct application and observance of group policies, the implementation of security posture control methodologies, and the identification and management of IT risks.

With the assistance and support of the IT Systems and Infrastructures Manager and the Regional Information Security Office, the scope of activities includes:

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting activities aimed at continuously strengthening corporate IT security in terms of both infrastructure and managed information.

Implementing and maintaining IT systems and services, including IT asset classification, risk assessment, and security control implementation.

Ensuring the effective application of cybersecurity rules and guidelines and monitoring their implementation (Governance and Security).

Identifying IT risks and defining mitigation plans (IT Risk Management).

Providing support to Internal Functions and Business.

Promptly detecting and responding to potential threats or attacks.

Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.

Ensuring all necessary actions/measures are adopted to minimize the presence/impact of vulnerabilities.

High school diploma in technical/IT fields or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related fields (a Bachelor’s Degree will be considered a plus)

At least 1 year of experience in the role.

Medium-level knowledge of the following topics: Common attack techniques and ability to prevent, detect, and respond to such attacks, Firewall and SDWAN technologies, Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems, Cybersecurity and networking, Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, Domains, DNS, webapps, digital certificates, Endpoint protection products, Authentication systems.

Knowledge of documentation frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, CIS, …) will be considered a plus.

Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.

Strong Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to analyze complex situations and identify effective solutions.
