Maintenance Specialist

The Maintenance Specialist is the primary point of contact between HQ and the hotels regarding all chain-wide maintenance issues. They also act as the main liaison with maintenance suppliers, playing a key role in gathering and comparing quotes, which they’ll then validate with the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees and monitors the Chain’s maintenance standards by analyzing received reviews, then implementing corrective actions through targeted intervention and action plans;
  • Plans and manages routine and extraordinary maintenance within budget constraints, utilizing the company portal for monitoring;
  • Prepares orders for the purchasing department, ensuring minimum stock replenishment in hotel maintenance warehouses;
  • Manages, archives, reviews, and collects intervention reports, ensuring validation from partners upon job completion;
  • Is responsible for managing and updating the software for the Asset department’s portal;
  • Manages the trouble ticketing process;
  • Monitors hotel maintenance CAPEX alongside their manager, excluding renovations;
  • Handles the schedule of mandatory property compliance deadlines;
  • Provides support in supervising hotels regarding maintenance operations, fire prevention measures, and compliance with Legislative Decree 81/08;
  • Evaluates the energy efficiency of hotel buildings and systems;
  • Maintains a monthly, accessible schedule of maintenance visits to properties to monitor the application of chain-wide maintenance procedures and standards;
  • Creates documented and archived departmental reports;
  • Is in charge of coordinating renovation work on hotel systems;
  • Oversees the updating of files, training manuals, and reports stored on the Department’s shared drive.

Your background

>

 

  • Technical industrial diploma, surveyor diploma, or similar;
  • 1-2 years of experience in the role. Knowledge of the hotel or retail sector is a plus.

Your technical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other company-specific digital and IT tools required for the functions listed above;
  • Excellent command of English. knowledge of the Italian language is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Holds a valid B driver’s license.
